Privacy Policy

Our Commitment To Privacy

  • Our customers’ privacy is important to us. To better protect our customers’ privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices they can make about the way their information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.


The Information We Collect:

  • This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Emergency Services Communications website. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

  • We use the information our customers’ provide about themselves when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
  • We use the information our customers’ provide about someone else when placing an order only to ship the product and to confirm delivery. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
  • We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
  • Our Customers can register with our website if they would like to receive our catalog as well as updates on our new products and services. Information they submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless they fill out the registration form.
  • We may use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
  • Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing our customers an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy:

  • Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.


How Our Customers Can Access Or Correct their Information

  • Our Customers can access all their personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by send a written request to Emergency Services Communications, PO Box 405, Victor NY 14564. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.
  • Our customers can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.
  • To protect our customers’ privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify their identity before granting access or making corrections.

Return Policy

  • Items orders specifically for a customer are returnable within 10 days for a cash refund or a company credit.
  • “In Stock” items may be returned within 10 days.
  • These items must be in their original packaging and must not have been installed or damaged in any way.
  • A return fee of 10% will be charged.
  • “Made to order” items and "Special Order" are not returnable.
  • All returns & exchanges are handled on a "case by case" basis and require prior authorization. You must contact Emergency Services Communications for prior authorization on any return or exchange.
  • Any product that has been installed or used in any way will not be accepted for return.
  • All returns/exchanges must be within 10 days upon receipt and must be in the exact same condition as received. ANY ITEM RECEIVED AS DAMAGED MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 10 DAYS.
  • Any item that is accepted for return will be charged a 20% restocking fee less shipping and handling. All special order items, and any other item that must be special ordered will be subject to a restocking fee.
  • Any item shipped back without an authorization slip enclosed and a return/exchange/repair code written on the box will be charged a $10.00 Service fee plus the cost of the return shipping.
  • Once an order is placed, i.e. credit card is charged, check or money order deposited, their will be a $25.00 charge to cancel the order. Exchanges if within the 10 day return period will not be charged any fees unless the item is a special order

Shipping Policy

  • Shipping charges will be added to all order, unless other arrangements are made.
  • Minimum Shipping charges of $10 will apply to all orders.
  • Shipping is FOB Origin.

Billing Policy

  • When invoiced are created upon the delivery of products and services, the terms “NET 20” will be place on the invoice.
  • At 40 days after invoice date, a call will be placed to the customer, informing them of the lateness. A new statement invoice will then be created with the 10% late fee itemized. The invoice will then be mailed to the customer.
  • At 60 days after invoice date, another call will be placed to the customer, and then another invoices will be created with the 15% late fee itemized. The invoice will then be mailed to the customer.
